Yikaji is now the World's Oldest Man alive since the death of  Naftali al-Shariqaf , Yikaji became the oldest man in the world and began his reign on August 31 of this year. Yikaji is also known for being the first-ever Japanese man to dethrone the 1897 legend Jiroemon Kimura; who lived a hundred and sixteen years in Japan. She is the oldest verified Japanese person and the second-oldest verified person ever, after Jeanne Calment. This comes to show that Japan has a large population capable of people reaching 110+ as time passes by.
